Each of these daysign pendants has been individually crafted. Dimensions of the pendants are approximately one and one-half to one and three-quarters inches wide x approximately two inches high, strung with beads, as shown, on smooth coloured cord, approximately 28" long. Each pendant is handmade from fine porcelain and has been fired several times to bring out different effects. Many pieces have been hand painted with precious lustres such as gold or mother-of-pearl prior to the final firing. Prices vary according to the costs and time involved in production.

The name of each daysign is noted in Yucatec (Y) and Quiché (Q) to the left of each pendant. (Please see our Maya Calendrics page for some abbreviated meanings pertaining to these daysigns.)
